This is grant is for photographers with strong connections to the communities documented in their stories–whether they are from those communities or have developed strong relationships with them over time. What are we looking for? Think land and water protection, Indigenous science and wisdom, climate change, regeneration, and everything intersecting in between including human rights, Indigenous sovereignty, land back, and more. We welcome mixed media photographers as well.
Applications for open in January 2025. You must be a member to apply.
3 x $5000 USD
This is for photographers with strong connections to communities who are protecting the planet in revolutionary ways. We are looking for stories ranging from land and water protection, Indigenous science and wisdom, climate change, regeneration, and everything in between.
The grant includes:
$5000 USD each to implement the proposed project.
Community exhibition.
Training and capacity development via 1:1 and group workshops.
Features across our platforms and a publication in our print magazine.
