Starting in 2025, we will be awarding a different photographer a Micro-Grant each month to a different photo essay submission.
Micro-Grants are open to community members and must be submitted through our community platform.
12 x $500 USD
This is for photographers with strong connections to the communities in their stories, whether they are from those communities or have developed strong relationships with them over time. We are looking for stories ranging from land and water protection, Indigenous science and wisdom, climate change, regeneration, and everything intersecting in between including human rights, Indigenous sovereignty, land back, and more. We welcome mixed media photographers as well.
