This NGO’s mission is to enable every person, equip leaders, and establish self-sustaining communities. We achieve this through a 4-phase approach: clean water, education, affordable medical care, and women empowerment. The NGO provides drinking water, educates on the importance of hand washing, provides affordable education through their International School, provides equal access to basic affordable medical care, and empowers women to be business entrepreneurs and girls to go to school.

project DETAILS
The photographer will be introduced to the NGO’s staff, visit their school, as well as the Soap Women program. He/she will conduct staff interviews, visit water well sites, engage with students in classrooms. The images will be used to demonstrate the NGO’s impact via social media, newsletter, website, and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable
Experience in overseas development and travelling in developing nations
Essential
Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Open to new experiences
Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) original article of 500-750 words, written in third-person, upon completion of the project, to complement the images of this assignment.
Mandatory completion of PWB Ethical Storytelling Certification prior to Assignment start date (Included in Assignment Cost)
