ABOUT our community partner
Established in 2005, this organization’s purpose is to ensure the conservation, preservation, protection and research of wildlife. They achieve this by rescuing and rehabilitating various species such as birds, mammals and reptiles threatened by the destruction of their habitat and wildlife trafficking. For each animal they rescue, the ultimate objective is the release under the only condition that their mental and physical state would allow it.
The photographer will arrive in Puerto Maldonado and introduced to the organization’s team. He/she will meet with their Director and volunteers, visit several project sites – for the purpose of interviews and storytelling. The materials will be used to promote the organization’s visibility (and to attract new volunteers). The photos will be used on their website, social media, as well as promotional materials.
