ABOUT THE PROJECT PARTNER
This organization's mission to up-top the Earth's flip-flop pollution into inspiring art, to promote conservation of our oceans and create employment opportunities in under-developed communities. The NGO's goals include: up-cycle our own waste, enable Kenya conservation entrepreneurs, collaborate with global artist and designers to create more art and products to bring more awareness to the plight of the oceans and the increasing debris problem impacting both human and marine life, continue to invest in new staff welfare, build a new production facility at the Kenya coast and provide jobs.
The photographer will be introduced to the organization's staff members. He/she will be visiting their project sites in order to capture a masterpiece being made, the carvers at work and the process of how the pieces are made. He/she will also be invited to several workshops. The images will be used for the organization's new website, newsletters, blogs and stories, as well as social media platforms, and marketing materials/prints.
