ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT

This NGO’s mission is evolve, develop and support indigenous strategies that would cater to the developmental needs of the rural society in realizing their true strength and transforming themselves in a developed society. Their goals include reflecting and sharing a vision of an equal and just society where the vulnerable and marginalized sections of the society effectively participate in the development process leading to control over their resources. 

PROJECT DETAILS

The photographer will be introduced the NGO’s staff members; and will visit several project sites (field visits), in Chhitorgarh, Ddariyawad, Kumbhalgarh, Phoolwari-Ki-Nal, in order to document the NGO’s work. The photos will be featured on the NGO’s website and social media, and will be used for fundraising purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism  

  • Experience using editing software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills 

  • Adaptable to new and different situations

 Desirable

  • Experience in overseas development and travelling in developing nations
