ABOUT our community partner

Established in 2001, this non-governmental local organization (NGO) supports and builds the capacities of local development organization in Guatemala – whilst respecting their principles and values. The NGO facilitates and connects organization and volunteers, both national and international, and provides them with a variety of resources, capacity building and networking services, with the objective of maximizing the developmental impact of each organization.

assignment DETAILS

This is a follow-up project. The videographer will visit several project sites upon his/her arrival to the NGO’s location (including their Small Grants Program and Volunteer Program). The video material will be used to increase the NGO’s visibility and help them reach more community organization interested in their work. The materials will also be used from promotional purposes (for donors), and will be posted on social media – such as Facebook and YouTube.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Proficient and videography (and digital storytelling)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient

 Desirable

  • Some knowledge of Spanish
