Established in 1980, this organization’s mission is to contribute to the sustainability of El Salvador, and the world, through the promotion and implementation of socio-environmental programs, projects and actions that strengthen a movement for social and environmental justice. The NGO works to connect local communities to information and resources that supports the protection of the country’s natural resources.
Their work addresses the following environmental and social matters: climate change, water and food pollution, water and food insecurity, sustainable transportation, waste management, and barriers to people with disabilities. The organization’s education initiatives include bicycle promotion, climate change awareness, agro-ecology, high school-level environmental training and learning opportunities for people with disabilities.

The photographer will document the NGO’s bicycle training and promotion in San Marcos, environmental activities with high school students in San Marcos, agro-ecological production in Tenancingo, and urban food production. The images will be used for reports, general awareness about the need to develop proper solutions for the environmental problems, and help the organization showcase their work to partner NGOs. Your images will also be shared by PWB to help support the work of the NGO and the PWB program.
Your job is to demonstrate the impact of the NGO through your storytelling and help convey to donors and grant programs the value of their financial support. Your images should tell a story that highlights experiences of local communities and the NGO’s mission of securing environmental justice.
Any knowledge of Spanish
