Javed Sultan is a self-taught photographer based in Delhi, India, who works on social issues. He is currently working as a freelance photographer with Anadolu Agency and has contributed to various national and international agencies as a freelance artist.

His work has been published in leading Indian and international publications such as Guardian, Getty, LensCulture, TRT World, SIPA Press, Xinhua, Puzzle Pix, Sunday Guardian, Quint, Yahoo, Kindle Invisible Photographer Asia and India Legal

Javed’s work has been featured in various photography exhibitions in India and abroad, which include a photojournalistic exhibition in Canosa di Pulia, Italy, organized by the Foundation of the The South and Pro Loco UNPLI, Multimedia projection at 10th Angkor Photo Festival in Cambodia and Centre for Social and Development Studies photo exhibition in India. 

His photo project "Of Traditions, Threads and Threats” won Humanity Photo Performance Award in the category of Living and Production Custom organized by China Folklore Photographic Association & UNESCO.
